eCommerce Implementation Manager

Job Purpose

 The eCommerce Implementation Manager will be responsible for leading and co-ordinating individual projects/ B&F initiatives within the wider B&F change programme of work. This role will report to the Body & Fit eCommerce Implementation Lead, and will work closely with the B&F teams and leadership team on their respective projects and initiatives. 

Principal Accountabilities Include (not definitive)


  • Ensure each project is fully scoped and well understood, i.e. implementation, business impact and change management requirements captured

  • Collate project demands and lead on project planning and delivery using Agile or Waterfall methodologies- including change management interventions, communications, stakeholder management, benefits realisation, risk management and reporting

  • Create project plans, roles and deliverables and assess risks to ensure that there is a high probability of success and to determine if there are any conflicts or budgetary issues

  • Work across business and project owners to identify interdependencies, agree key milestones and align on project roadmap

  • Ensure all stakeholders and key sponsors understand the project roadmap and liaise with internal and external resource providers to ensure that there is clarity of commitment to key goals

  • Own and manage project governance, working closely with the eCommerce Implementation Lead to ensure a robust change control procedure is in place and that senior stakeholders receive updates around overall status

  • Monitor project costs, timescales, resources used and quality controls, and take action where these deviate from agreed tolerances. Ensure that delivered results are implemented within these criteria

  • Third party relationship management including oversight of tender processes

Experience & Knowledge

  • Educated to degree level 2:1

  • Experience of lean methodologies and Six Sigma and /or working with Agile methodologies would be advantageous

  • At least 5 years’ experience working on roles focussing on business strategy, development and change implementation OR working in a high growth eCommerce business

  • Ability to use data and analysis to diagnose issues, identify opportunities, root cause problems, or build out business cases and high level financial models

  • Experience scoping, developing and implementing significant change to operational systems and processes, ideally in an eCommerce/ Direct to Consumer (DTC) environment

  • Experience across the full product lifecycle, from defining new product propositions and roadmaps to running iterative development sprints and post-launch optimisation

  • A track record of delivering projects in a cross-functional environment, working with multiple stakeholders to identify and design business solutions and deliver that change in a complex setting

  • Budget management experience

  • Identification and management of risks, issues and dependencies

  • Delivery of significant change management programmes
